Wisconsin Society for Ornithology Convention
Thursday, May 16, 2024 (All day) to Sunday, May 19, 2024 (All day)
The Wisconsin Society for Ornithology's 82nd annual convention officially begins 3 p.m. Friday, but early birds are welcome for fun at related events starting Thursday evening. The convention focuses on field trips to local birding areas, informative sessions, and celebrating the love for birds and our great outdoors!
Saturday's events include an evening banquet featuring keynote speaker Dr. Ben Zuckerberg. His UW-Madison lab has found overwhelming evidence that wildlife populations are responding to modern climate change, and he discusses how birds are responding to a warming world.
Society membership is not necessary to attend convention events.
