Shipwreck Day
Saturday, April 20, 2024 - 10:00am to 3:00pm
Dive into the remarkable world of shipwrecks and underwater archaeology. Hands-on activities, a book signing with Sunken author Kathy Groth, and a Q&A with an underwater archaeologist.
Free youth admission (12 and younger) sponsored by the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation and the Wisconsin Shipwreck Coast National Marine Sanctuary.
Schedule:
- 10 a.m.-4 p.m.: museum & submarine open
- 10 a.m.-3 p.m.: shipwreck activities throughout the museum
- 11 a.m.: Sunken: Shipwrecks of Lake Michigan book talk and signing with author Kathy Groth
- 1:30 p.m.: ask an underwater archaeologist!
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
